Model: Courtney Denise
For those of you who follow my work more closely, you may have noticed I’ve been working more with model Courtney Denise. Courtney was kind enough to come out and do a test shoot with me. We had hit it off so well that I bought her lunch and asked her to spend the rest of the day with me at a special location that I had been holding in reserve for someone like her.
Our work has a very natural relaxed flow, and there is a certain intimacy present which isn’t always easy to get out of a subject. I’m going to keep working with Courtney until one of us gets sick of the other so you’ll likely be seeing much more of her.

Duke Homestead
I did a little walkabout on Saturday with my friend mrx. We visited, among other places, the Duke Homestead in Durham, NC.
This old tobacco barn with the emerging spring leaves on the trees really struck me. What a lovely place.

WordPress Advice?
I have some fantastic photos that I’d like to post to the blog, but they are artistic nudes. I don’t want anyone to get in trouble for visiting my blog from work, school, or anywhere else that viewing nude images might be problematic.
Does WordPress have something like the lj-cut tag in Livejournal to allow me to hide the potentially objectionable content and make people click a link to reveal the rest once they understand what it is they are asking for?

American Tobacco Heritage District, Durham, NC
Saturday was an absolutely beautiful day for a photo walkabout, and that’s just what I did with my friend Gary. We had an early breakfast and then hit West Point on the Eno as soon as the gates opened. From there we had lunch and a cold beer at Tyler’s and then set out to explore the American Tobacco Historic District. They aren’t exactly photographer friendly there but we didn’t let that stop us from trying.
